Sonny and Gita Mehta India Scholarship at University of East Anglia 2026

A brilliant Indian writer will receive funding from the Sonny and Gita Mehta India Scholarship to study in the esteemed Department of Literature, Drama, and Creative Writing at UEA.

Eligibility for the Sonny and Gita Mehta India Scholarship at the University of East Anglia:

• The applicant should be an Indian citizen.
• The applicant should be a self-funding student.
• The candidate must demonstrate excellent creative writing potential.
• The applicant should be able to demonstrate financial need.
• The applicant is not eligible to receive any further scholarships or awards.
• The applicant should be enrolled in any of the following eligible programs only:
• MA Creative Writing Prose Fiction
• MA Creative Writing Poetry
• MA Creative Writing Scriptwriting
