Overview
The main purpose of the Prize is to reward and recognize excellence in GEOG 101 Earth Surface Processes and Landforms and GEOG 102 Geography of the Human Environment.
Eligibility Criteria for Solbo Village Prize at University of Auckland 2025:
- Applicants must be enrolled in the first year of a Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, or associated conjoint degree.
- Applicants must be majoring in Geography.
- Applicants must have achieved the highest marks in GEOG 101 Earth Surface Processes and Landforms, or an equivalent course, and intend to enroll in Stage II or Stage III Geography courses in the following year.
- As a minimum standard, the applicants must have achieved an A-.
