Southampton Physics and Astronomy Achievement Scholarship 2024

For the academic year starting in the fall of 2024, new undergraduate students majoring in physics and astronomy are eligible to apply for these £5,000 stipend scholarships. They are meant to foster more diversity within our academic community and assist highly qualified individuals pursuing degrees in physics and astronomy at Southampton University. Ten scholarships are up for grabs: five merit-based and five reserved for applicants who satisfy the broader participation requirements. Up to a total of £20,000 is available for renewal for further years of study, contingent upon the applicant's sustained academic success.

Eligibility for Southampton Physics and Astronomy Achievement Scholarship:

• The student needs to receive an offer to enroll in a Physics and Astronomy undergraduate program.
• If the student is considered an international student, they are responsible for covering their tuition and should not receive any other funding.
• Before applying for this scholarship, the student must have completed an application to study at the University of Southampton and been invited to an applicant day.
