The top ten international candidates pursuing an international Baccalaureate or Year 12 in Australia are eligible to apply for this prize. When you apply through VTAC for an undergraduate degree at Monash, you will automatically be evaluated for this scholarship if your ATAR is 98.00 or above.

Eligibility for Sir John Monash Scholarships for Excellence at Monash University:

  • The candidate should be an international student.
  • The candidate must be enrolled in Year 12 or the International Baccalaureate program in Australia.
  • The candidate must be intending to enroll in an undergraduate program at an Australian Monash campus.

Selection Criteria:

Academic achievement serves as the selection criterion, and the highest-achieving students with an ATAR of 98.00 or above are eligible.

Value of the Scholarship:

AUD 10,000 per annum (48 credit points of study), up to a maximum of four years.

Application Process:

No application process is required. Eligible students are automatically considered for this scholarship when they apply for a Monash undergraduate degree through VTAC.
