Megan Wraight Memorial Scholarship for Landscape Architecture
The Megan Wraight Memorial Scholarship honours the late visionary landscape architect Megan Wraight, recognising her leadership and contributions to urban and landscape design in Aotearoa-New Zealand. It supports 2nd-year Bachelor of Architectural Studies students majoring in Landscape Architecture who aspire to pursue further studies and become innovative designers and creative thinkers.
Eligibility Criteria of Megan Wraight Memorial Scholarship for Landscape Architecture:
- Applicants must have completed all their coursework pertaining to the 2nd year of the Bachelor of Architectural Studies, majoring in Landscape Architecture, at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington.
- To benefit from this scholarship, applicants must be enrolled in the 3rd year of the Bachelor of Architectural Studies, majoring in Landscape Architecture at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington.
Selection Criteria:
- Applicants must have completed all 2nd-year coursework in the Bachelor of Architectural Studies, majoring in Landscape Architecture, including LAND212 Landscape Architecture Design Studio II.
- Applicants should show strong design skills, innovation, good communication, high academic achievement, and commitment to professional issues; preference may be given to Māori and Pasifika students.
Application Process: A completed online application must be submitted on the closing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.
Award: NZD 1,000.
