School of Veterinary Sciences Masterate in Veterinary Pathology at Massey University 2025

Purpose:

To encourage veterinary graduates to undertake university postgraduate study in a veterinary specialty discipline.

Eligibility for the School of Veterinary Sciences Masterate in Veterinary Pathology:

• Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents or Australian citizens or permanent residents.
• Candidates should hold a Bachelor of Veterinary Science degree that is registrable in New Zealand.
• Students must be eligible for and intend to study the Master of Veterinary Studies (Advanced Veterinary Practice) at Massey University.

Selection Criteria:

In determining a candidate's suitability for the scholarship, the Selection Committee shall consider the candidate's experience, previous internships, or other evidence of interest in pursuing a residency; academic record; the referees’ comments; and any other relevant information provided.

Value of the Scholarship:

The value of the scholarship will be a stipend of $46,425 per annum for up to three years. In addition to the stipend, the scholarship will cover tuition fees for a Master of Veterinary Studies program.
