Overview

Eligibility Criteria for Westpac Asian Exchange Scholarship 2025:

  • Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
  • Be enrolled full-time (undergraduate or postgraduate) at one of the 14 participating Australian universities during the fellowship year.
  • Currently hold, or have graduated with, a minimum of a credit average.
  • Have completed a learning abroad program in the Asia-Pacific that:
    • Was in-person for at least one semester (4 months),
    • Was approved and conducted through an Australian university,
    • Started in or after Semester 1, 2023,
    • Took place at one of the 38 eligible destinations in the Asia-Pacific.
  • Be available to attend required program events:
    • Westpac Scholars Summit (Sydney),
    • Leadership Development Residential 1 (Singapore & Malaysia),
    • Leadership Development Residential 2 (Indonesia & Vietnam).
  • Students from all fields of study are eligible. 

Application Process:

  • Register your interest/apply online through the Westpac Scholars Trust application portal when applications are open.
  • Submit required supporting documentation.
