Overview
The UCC School of Nursing and Midwifery provides international students with scholarship opportunities. The scholarship program provides financial aid to international nursing students residing in nations ranked high on the Human Development Index so they can attend one of Ireland's top nursing and midwifery schools.
Eligibility criteria:
- The applicants must have an offer of admission for either B.Sc or M.Sc Nursing.
- The applicant must be classed as a non-EU student for fee purposes.
- The applicant must be self-funding their studies at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, University College Cork, Ireland.
Application Process:
This scholarship does not require an application. The eligible students will be considered automatically.
Value of the scholarship:
MSc Nursing:
- 50% off for candidates who are self-funding and who live in nations that are rated between 116 and 191 on the Human Development Index.
- 35% tuition discount for self-funding candidates who reside in countries rated between 67 and 115 on the Human Development Index.
BSc Nursing:
- 15% tuition discount for self-funding applicants who live in nations that are rated between 116 and 191 on the Human Development Index.
- 10% of the tuition cost for all other self-funding candidates who are citizens of nations that are rated between 67 and 115 in the Human Development Index.
