Western University offers the Scholarships for Globally Displaced Students to support new international undergraduate students whose home countries have been severely affected by war, conflict, or other disasters. The scholarships aim to help eligible students pursue their undergraduate studies at Western’s main campus.

Eligibility criteria for Globally Displaced Students at Western University 2026:

• Applicants must be new international students applying for admission to an undergraduate program at Western University’s main campus.
• Applicants must need financial assistance and have a home country that has been devastated by war or other disasters.
• Applicants must have received an admission offer to an undergraduate program.
• Applicants must remain registered full-time, with a minimum of 3.5 courses, in an undergraduate program at Western’s main campus to continue receiving the scholarship for up to four years.

Application Process for Globally Displaced Students at Western University 2026:

• Applicants are automatically considered for the scholarship, so no separate scholarship application is required.
• Applicants will receive their scholarship notification through Western’s Applicant Portal.

Value of the scholarship: Up to CAD 6,00,000

•  CAD 25,000 per year. Available for up to 4 years, with a maximum total value of CAD 100,000.
