Overview:

The Scholarship will support female students in the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology (FEIT) and/or the Faculty of Design, Architecture and Building (DAB).

Eligibilty for Richard Crookes Constructions Merit Scholarship for Women UTS:

Identify as female.
Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or hold an Australian permanent resident or permanent humanitarian visa.
Be commencing first year of one of the following UTS degrees with a relevant major:
- Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), Diploma in Professional Engineering Practice (Civil Engineering or Civil and Environmental Engineering); or
- Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) or combined Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Civil Engineering or Civil and Environmental Engineering); or
- Bachelor of Construction Project Management; or
- Bachelor of Design in Architecture; or
- Bachelor of Design in Architecture / Bachelor of Design in Creative Intelligence and Innovation.
Be enrolled full-time in one of the above degrees and relevant majors.
All candidates must be available to attend an interview.

Selection process:

Motivation to pursue a career in the building industry;
Personal achievements, showing extra-curricular excellence such as community activities and otherwise;
Academic merit (ATAR as the basis of admission)
