Rosemary Barrington Research Grant at Victoria University of Wellington

The Rosemary Barrington Research Grant, established in her memory, supports research that advances social justice in New Zealand. Rosemary Barrington dedicated her life to education, human rights, and equality, serving in various roles at Victoria University of Wellington, including tutor, research fellow, student leader, and Chancellor.

Eligibility Criteria: 

1. Open to current students pursuing Honours, Master's, or PhD in any discipline at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington.
2. Preference is given to female applicants, and candidates must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents.

Selection Criteria: 

1. Applicants must be pursuing Honours, Master's, or PhD in any discipline at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington and demonstrate how their research will advance social justice in New Zealand.
2. Preference will be given to female applicants and those who are New Zealand citizens or permanent residents.

Application Process: A completed online application must be submitted on the closing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Award: NZD 10,000.
