The Robert Horton Engineering Award was established to assist students in their second year of Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) studies.

Eligibility for the Robert Horton Engineering Award:

  • The award will be made to the student enrolled in Part II of a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (BE(Hons)) who achieved the highest GPA across all Part I courses. 
  • As a minimum standard, the student must have achieved a GPA of 7.00 (equivalent to an A- average).

Students do not need to apply for this scholarship, award, or prize or complete an online application form. It is awarded on the recommendation of the relevant faculty or University of Auckland committee.
