The Robert Horton Engineering Award 2024 was established to assist students in their second year of Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) studies.
Eligibility for Robert Horton Engineering Award 2024:
- The Award will be made to the student enrolled in Part II of a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (BE(Hons)) who achieved the highest GPA across all Part I courses.
- As a minimum standard, the student must have achieved a GPA of 7.00 (equivalent to an A- average).
Application Process:
Students do not need to apply for this scholarship, award, or prize or complete an online application form. It is awarded on the recommendation of the relevant faculty or University of Auckland committee.
Value of Robert Horton Engineering Award 2024:
- The Robert Horton Engineering Award will have an annual value of NZD 1,400.
The Robert Horton Engineering Award 2024 will be made by the University of Auckland Council upon the recommendation of the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering (or nominee). In the event of a tie, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering (or nominee) will determine whether the Award may be shared. Payment of the Award will be made in Semester One of Part II of enrolment in the BE(Hons).
