Eligibility Criteria for Foundation Study Bursaries at RMIT University:

  • Apply from outside Australia (offshore applicants only).
  • Be a citizen of one of the following regions/countries:
    • China, Hong Kong SAR
    • South-East Asia: Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia
    • North Asia: Taiwan, Japan, South Korea
  • Intend to study an English for Academic Purposes (EAP) pathway leading to Foundation Studies in 2026.
  • Hold a packaged offer that includes:
    • ELICOS (EAP) + RMIT Foundation Studies + an RMIT award course.
  • Apply to an eligible RMIT program and indicate you wish to package EAP and/or Foundation Studies.

Value of Foundation Study Bursaries at RMIT University:

  • 10% tuition fee reduction on the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) course.
  • Applicable for a study period commencing January–December 2026.
