Overview

The School of Continuing Education offers scholarships to Egyptian graduates from Egyptian public universities to study in one of the career certificate programs.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Egyptian youth who graduated from national universities are eligible to apply for the scholarships.
  • Applicants of The American University of Cairo - School of Continuing Education (SCE) Scholarships in Egypt, 2024 can apply for Certificate Programs in the following fields:
    • Human Resources Management
    • Accounting
    • Finance
    • Sales Management
    • Marketing
    • Digital Marketing
    • Legal and UN translation Diploma
    • Strategic Procurement Management
    • Logistics Management
    • Business Administration 
  • Applicants should not exceed the age of 28 by July 1, 2024.
  • Applicants must have earned a bachelor's degree with a minimum score of Good, but priority is given to those who have scored above.
  • Applicants must be ineligible for military service throughout the scholarship.
  • Applicants shouldn’t have studied for any career certificate at the SCE or any diplomas at AUC or benefited from any AUC/SCE scholarship before.
  • Applicants must have passed the English Proficiency Test with the required score of level A2C for career certificates, and B2A for Translation Diplomas.
  • Applicants must have passed the Arabic Proficiency Test.
  • Applicants rejected in the previous years cannot re-apply.

Application Process:

  • The applicant must take up the SCE test to be considered for the scholarship.
  • The successful candidates must enclose using the following documents:
    • Copy of National ID.
    • Copy of the national IDs of the parents.
    • HR letter if employed.
    • HR letter of both parents. 
    • Official Statement of the family's monthly income.
    • Copy of the Military Service Status (for male applicants).
    • Copy of Graduation Certificate.
    • Copy of OEPT score (B1A and above).
    • Copy of OEPT score (B2A) at least and OAAT score for Legal and UN translation diploma.
    • Personal photo.
  • The applicant must write a paragraph of 250 words explaining his/her social status. The Paragraph should include:
    • Introduction about themselves
    • A brief about their parents and their employment status and income
    • A brief about their sisters/brothers if any and their current education and employment status
