Overview

Renmin University offers four different kinds of Scholarships: the Academic Performance Award, the Academic Progress Award, the Social Activity Award, and the Outstanding Leadership Award. These Awards are for people who have made great performance or progress in academic studies and extracurricular activities. You can only apply for one of these awards and receive a one-time scholarship.

Eligibility for the Renmin University of China International Students Scholarships:

  • Undergraduate students: in the first to third year of study
  • Two-year Master's degree students: in the first year of study
  • Three-year Master's degree students: in the first to second year of study
  • Ph.D. degree students: in the first year of study
  • Candidates must be ranked in the top 20 in their school.
  • Students who received penalties due to visa expiration or have been penalized because of the visa, criminal wrongdoings, broken university regulations, or country laws are automatically disqualified for these scholarships.

Benefits:

The Academic Performance Award will be awarded to three people: The first Place is 3000 Yuan, the Second is 2000 Yuan and the Third Place is 1000 Yuan.

  • Social Activity Award: 1000 Yuan
  • Outstanding Leadership Award: 2000 Yuan

  • Applications open at the beginning of April each year.
  • Fill out the Renmin University of China International Students Scholarship Application Form online at iso.ruc.edu.cn within the specified time frame.
