The Potentia Scholarship in Computer Science supports a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) student with an interest in software development enrolling in their final year of Computer Science at the University of Auckland in the following academic year.

Eligibility Criteria for Potential Scholarship in Computer Science at University of Auckland 2025:

To be eligible, the applicant must:

  • Be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
  • Be enrolled full-time in Stage III of a Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Year Four of a Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) (BAdvSci(Hons)) or a conjoint program in Computer Science, in courses related to software development, for the following year.
  • Conjoint students must be enrolled in the penultimate year of their degree at the time of application.
  • Have a GPA or GPE of at least 6.00 (5.50 for Māori and Pacific candidates) for Scholarship consideration.

Value of Potentia Scholarship in Computer Science at University of Auckland 2025:

One Scholarship will be awarded annually, for a period of up to one year, and will cover compulsory tuition fees up to a value of up to $10,000
