Rachael Fontana and Tania Fontana-Marshall Scholarship at University of Southern Queensland

The Rachael Fontana and Tania Fontana-Marshall Scholarship, established in loving memory of Rachael Lee Fontana and Tania Louise Fontana-Marshall, will support one student commencing a bachelor’s degree at UniSQ in 2026. The scholarship honours Rachael’s passion for the arts and vibrant university life, and Tania’s dedication to helping others in the community.

Eligibility Criteria: 

1. The applicant should be a domestic student currently residing in Australia and a commencing student.
2. The applicant should be intending to enrol full-time in a bachelor’s degree program at UniSQ in Trimester 1 2026.
3. The applicant should have an income at or below the financial threshold limits.

Selection Criteria: 

1. Address each personal statement question (max 250 words each): experiences or influences driving your passion, and career goals/impact.
2. Provide evidence of academic achievement and financial circumstances (e.g., final year school report card or post-secondary transcript, and proof of financial situation).

Application Process: Application must be made via the UniSQ Scholarships Online Application Management System.

Award: a maximum value of AUD 6,000 to be paid in two instalments.

Deadline: Monday 19 January 2026 at 11:59pm (AEST).

Note: If an applicant holds other UniSQ awarded scholarships, this may be taken into consideration in selection. There are some scholarships that cannot be held together.
