The Rachael Fontana and Tania Fontana-Marshall Scholarship, established in loving memory of Rachael Lee Fontana and Tania Louise Fontana-Marshall, will support one student commencing a bachelor’s degree at UniSQ in 2026. The scholarship honours Rachael’s passion for the arts and vibrant university life, and Tania’s dedication to helping others in the community.

Eligibility Criteria: 

Applicants must:

  • be a domestic student currently residing in Australia
  • be a commencing student
  • be intending to enrol full-time at UniSQ in a bachelor’s degree program in Trimester 1 2026
  • have an income at or below the financial threshold limits.

Selection Criteria: 

  • Address each personal statement question (max 250 words each): experiences or influences driving your passion and career goals/impact.
  • Provide evidence of academic achievement and financial circumstances (e.g., a final-year school report card or post-secondary transcript and proof of financial situation).

Application Process: Application must be made via the UniSQ Scholarships Online Application Management System.

Award: a maximum value of AUD 6,000 to be paid in two installments.
