PhD scholarship at QUT 2024

The QUT Centre for Data Science offers a three-year PhD scholarship to outstanding candidates interested in various research programs and domains related to data science. The scholarship provides financial support and opportunities for international students as well.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Meet the entry requirements for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at QUT.
• Not be in receipt of another living allowance scholarship for the research degree.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills relevant to the PhD project.
• Nominate a proposed supervisor and make contact with them prior to submitting an Expression of Interest.
• Be able to commence onshore by 31 July 2024.

Value of the Scholarship:

• A tax-free stipend of AUD 33,637 per annum for three years.
• The stipend is paid fortnightly and indexed annually.
• Potential for a six-month extension, subject to approval.
• International students may be considered for a research degree tuition fee sponsorship if awarded the scholarship.

• Fill out the application form provided on the website.
• Submit an up-to-date curriculum vitae (CV) and academic transcript or relevant research skills.
• Indicate a research area within CDS you are interested in.
• Provide names of proposed supervisor(s).
• Advise your student and PhD application status.
