QUT Excellence Scholarship (Academic) 2024

The QUT Excellence Scholarship (Academic) is the premier scholarship offered by QUT, aimed at students with exceptional academic achievements. This scholarship program not only provides financial support but also offers additional development opportunities to enhance leadership skills and professional networks.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicant:

• Must be graduating Year 12 in 2023 and achieve an Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) or an International Baccalaureate (IB), or have graduated Year 12 in 2022 with the same qualifications.
• Must be starting university for the first time in 2024.
• Must achieve a minimum unadjusted ATAR of 98 or equivalent.
• Must have placed QUT as the first preference on the QTAC application and received a QUT offer as the first preference.

Value of the Scholarship:

• Scholarships are valued at $30,000 each for study in any discipline or courses in the Faculty of Science and Faculty of Engineering.
• Scholarships are valued at $10,000 each for study in any discipline.
• Payments are made as a study stipend after the HECS-HELP census date of each semester.

Application Process:

No separate scholarship application is required. All eligible students who complete a QTAC application with a QUT course as their first preference will be automatically considered.

Deadlines:

Scholarship offers will be made from December 2023 to January 2024.
