Eligibility for the Calvin Ring Prize for Clinical Ophthalmology:

Be a full-time student at the University of Auckland.
Be one of up to twelve candidates selected based on performance in the MBChB Part V OSCE Examination.
Participate in the Calvin Ring Prize competition, which assesses:
- Clinical ophthalmology expertise
- Examination skills
- Ability to examine patients
- Ability to interpret clinical slide transparencies
Achieve the highest score in the competition to win the prize.

One prize awarded annually

Students are nominated automatically based on MBChB Part V OSCE performance and invited to the competition.
