Overview
The Quercus Taught Masters Academic Scholarships are awarded to top-performing postgraduate applicants to Masters courses across University College Cork (UCC). These scholarships aim to recognize exceptional academic achievement and commitment to the chosen master's course.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be postgraduate applicants to UCC.
- Candidates should have a minimum 1H undergraduate honours bachelor degree (NFQ Level 8) or a 1H postgraduate degree (NFQ Level 9).
- Applicants must demonstrate an exceptional level of academic excellence and commitment to their chosen master's course, as determined by their college of choice.
Value of the Scholarship :
- The scholarship covers 50% of the postgraduate fees for the duration of the master's course.
- The fee contribution will be awarded in semester two of the academic year.
Application Process and deadlines:
- Applications for the scholarship are now closed.
- Applicants should direct any questions about the scholarship to the College of Medicine and Health at m.arnold@ucc.ie.
- The application deadline for the 2019 scholarship was June 1st, 2019.
- For applicants awaiting final year results, the deadline for uploading final transcripts to the Postgraduate Applications Centre (PAC) was June 30th, 2019.
- Award decisions were communicated to applicants by mid-July 2019.
