Prize for Engineering Excellence at University of the Highlands and Islands 2026:

The Prize for Engineering Excellence, donated by Willie Printie, is awarded annually by the University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI) in recognition of outstanding academic excellence in engineering at the degree level.

Eligibility for the Prize for Engineering Excellence at the University of the Highlands and Islands 2026:

• The applicant must have progressed from an engineering apprenticeship background.
• The applicant must have obtained further education qualifications and subsequently demonstrated outstanding academic performance during their degree studies.
• The applicant must be a graduating student of the University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI).

Application Process:

• No separate application is required.
• Eligible students are nominated by programme leaders in consultation with the subject network leader.

Value of the scholarship:

• GBP 500 is awarded to the recipient.
