President's International Scholarship of Excellence 2024

International high school applicants who are starting their first year of a four-year undergraduate program at York University and who demonstrate academic excellence, a dedication to extracurricular activities and volunteer work, and leadership abilities will be given the President's International Scholarship of Excellence.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria for President's International Scholarship of Excellence:

• The candidate should be enrolled in an undergraduate program.
• consideration is dependent upon a final admission average of at least 80% (A).
• The selection procedure may also take financial necessity into account. The recipients will be known as "President's International Scholars" and come from a range of geographical areas.
• After the recipient completes a minimum of 24 credits per Fall/Winter session with a minimum sessional grade point average of 6.0, the scholarship will be renewed for an additional three years of full-time study or until the degree is completed, whichever comes first.
• The amount of this award will be modified to match domestic tuition fee values if the recipient's immigration status changes at any point while they are a student at York and they are excused from paying foreign fees for any reason.

To be taken into consideration, a minimum 'A' average or its equivalent (York factor 8 or 9) is needed. A 500-word or fewer personal statement from the candidate, a financial profile, a summary of their interests and volunteer experiences, and one letter of recommendation make up the application form.

$180,000 ($45,000 x 4 years)
