Established in 2018, the Prize is supported by Deo Prasad AO, a renowned authority on sustainable buildings and cities and an alumnus of the School of Architecture and Planning. Deo is also a Scientia Professor and the CEO of the Low Carbon Living CRC at the University of New South Wales.

Eligibility for the Prasad Prize for High-Performance Architecture:

Applicants must:

Be enrolled in Year 2 or Year 3 of the Bachelor of Architectural Studies.
Have completed the relevant courses:
- Year 2: ARCHDES 200, 201 and ARCHTECH 210
- Year 3: ARCHDES 300, 301 and ARCHTECH 312
Achieve the highest GPA across the specified courses.

Value of the Prasad Prize for High-Performance Architecture:

$2,000
One award annually
