The Helen Hay Whitney Foundation has initiated scholarships to support early postdoctoral research training in all basic biomedical sciences.
Eligibility for Helen Hay Whitney Postdoctoral Research Fellowships, 2025:
- Applicants must have received a Ph.D. (or D.Phil. or equivalent) degree no more than two years before the application deadline, or an M.D. (or M.D.-Ph.D.) degree no more than four years before the deadline.
- Applicants must have been employed in their postdoctoral laboratory for no more than one year before the application deadline.
Selection Criteria:
- Screening by the Scientific Advisory Committee through an interview.
- Selected Candidates will be called for a Final interview.
- Selected candidates are approved for the fellowship by the votes of the Board of Trustees.

- The candidates must submit the applications online at the Helen Hay Whitney Foundation website.
- Candidates must refer to the 'Reference Letter Template' available on the website for drafting the reference letter.
- Candidates are required to submit the required supporting documents.
Value of Helen Hay Whitney Postdoctoral Research Fellowships, 2025:
