Eligibility for Philipp and Vera Gerhardt Undergraduate Excellence Award at University of Wisconsin :
Microbiology majors who have finished or are presently enrolled in Microbio 303 and 304 and who will be juniors or seniors at the time of the award. Candidates must have finished their undergraduate research requirements, such as a mentor project in Bio 152, Microbio 299 or 699, etc., for at least one semester. Applicants are ineligible if, at the time of the grant, they hold another research fellowship. No student may win the same departmental award more than once.
