2nd LT. Donald D. Brooks, Jr. Memorial Scholarship at Colorado State University 2025

The scholarship is intended to support students who demonstrate financial need or academic achievement, with a preference for those pursuing careers in the military or who have served in the Marine Corps or other branches of the military.

Eligibility Criteria for 2nd LT. Donald D. Brooks, Jr. Memorial Scholarship at Colorado State University 2025

• Applicants must be full-time undergraduate juniors or seniors enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in any major.
• Applicants must have attained class status as a junior or senior.
• Applicants must demonstrate financial need as established by the Office of Financial Aid OR demonstrate special academic achievement.
• Applicants must qualify as a Marine Officer selectee under the Platoon Leader Corps (PLC) Program.
• If no eligible recipients are in the Platoon Leader Corps (PLC) Program, the recipient should be a student veteran who has served honorably in the Marine Corps or is an active member of the Marine Corps Reserves.
• If no eligible recipients are members of the PLC program or a Marine Corps veteran or Reservist, consideration will be given to an Army or Air Force Cadet enrolled at CSU, who will be a Commissioned Officer upon graduation.
