Overview

Applicants with excellent backgrounds in applied mathematics, artificial intelligence applications, circular economy, structural and construction engineering, or similar fields will be well-suited for this fellowship. Students will also gain from working with top institutions, industry supervisors, and researchers during a 12-month industry placement program. 

Eligibility criteria:

  • Students must meet the Standard RMIT PhD enrolment requirement.
  • Preference will be given to students who are able to enrol and commence their PhD candidature in 2024/2025.

Application process:

To apply, submit the following documents to the center manager (siew.queen.chin@rmit.edu.au):

  • A one-page cover letter briefly outlining interest in the project.
  • Evidence of research ability.
  • A digital copy of academic transcripts. 
  • A CV including any publications, awards, and relevant professional experience.

Benefits:

Eligible applicants will get a stipend value between $34,841-$38,982 per annum for 3 years, with the possibility of a 6-month extension.
