Eligibility Criteria for PhD Korean Studies Prize at University of Edinburgh 2026:

Applicants must:

• Be full-time PhD students.
• Be applying for admission to the PhD Korean Studies programme at the University of Edinburgh for September 2026 or January 2027.
• Have, or expect to obtain, the equivalent of a UK first-class or 2:1 Honours degree at both undergraduate and Masters level.
• Engage actively with the postgraduate community and participate in presenting their work.

Value of PhD Korean Studies Prize at University of Edinburgh 2026:

• Up to £5,000 for one PhD student.
• Additional prizes of £3,000 may be awarded to two other students (PhD or MSc).

Application Process:

• Apply for the PhD Korean Studies programme between October 2025 and 31 May 2026.
  
• Eligible candidates are automatically considered for the prize.
