Overview:

Established in 2006 by the Government of Ontario, through the Ministry of Education and Training’s Access and Opportunities Strategy, to provide first generation bursary funds to full or part-time undergraduate students with financial need whose parents did not attend post-secondary studies.

Eligibility for Ontario First Generation Bursary:

Applicants must be first-generation students, defined as students whose parents did not attend post-secondary education.
Applicants must be registered as full-time or part-time undergraduate students.
Applicants must be residents of the Province of Ontario.
