Okanagan College Board of Governors Entrance Award 2026:

The Okanagan College Board of Governors Entrance Award supports graduates of secondary schools within the Okanagan College region who are entering their first year of full-time study in an eligible programme at Okanagan College. Selection is based on a combination of academic achievement and financial need.

Eligibility Criteria for the Okanagan College Board of Governors Entrance Award 2026:

  • Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
  • Applicant must be a graduate of a secondary school within the Okanagan College region, from Revelstoke to Princeton.
  • Applicant must be entering the first year of full-time study, with a minimum 80% course load, in an eligible programme at any Okanagan College campus the following September.
  • Eligible programmes include university studies, degree or diploma programmes, vocational, trades, or Health and Social Development certificate programmes, and full-time Continuing Studies certificate programmes.
  • Applicant must demonstrate academic achievement and financial need.
  • Applicant must provide an interim statement of grades.

Application Process:

  • Submit the All Campus High School Application online through myOkanagan.
  • Provide the required interim statement of grades.
  • Recipients are selected by Financial Awards.

Value of the Bursary:

  • One or more awards of approximately CAD 1,200 each are awarded to the recipients, equal to the accrued annual interest on the endowment fund.
