The Sultan Qaboos Cultural Center (SQCC) is offering the Summer Arabic Language and Media (SALAM) Program, in 2026.

Eligibility Criteria of the Scholarship:

  • The applicants must be citizens of the US.
  • The applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate, MA, or Ph.D. program in Spring 2026.
  • The applicants must have a passport which should be valid 6 months after the end of the program.
  • The applicants must complete four semesters of Arabic coursework (university-level) by the end of the spring semester.

Application Process:

All eligible candidates must complete and submit the online application to be considered for the scholarship. The application should include the following components:

  • Three letters of recommendation (including one from an Arabic instructor)
