The Northern First Nations Health Partnership Committee Health and Wellness Award supports Indigenous students at the University of Northern British Columbia who are pursuing health or health-related education in northern British Columbia. The award recognizes financial need, satisfactory academic standing, and commitment to improving Indigenous health and well-being.

Eligibility Criteria for the Northern First Nations Health Partnership Committee Health and Wellness Award at University British Columbia 2026:

• Applicants must be self-declared Indigenous students.
• Applicants must be enrolled full-time or part-time.
• Applicants must be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate program.
• Applicants must be studying in a health or health-related field.
• Applicants must demonstrate financial need.
• Applicants must maintain satisfactory academic standing.
• Applicants must provide a future study plan aligned with improving the health and well-being of Indigenous people.

Application Process for the Northern First Nations Health Partnership Committee Health and Wellness Award at University British Columbia 2026:

• Applicants must apply online through the Awards and Financial Aid Office.
• Applicants must complete the award application and provide a future study plan reflecting the award's health and wellness
• objectives.
• No additional documentation is required.
• Recipients are selected by the Awards Office/Senate Committee on Scholarships and Bursaries.

Value: CAD 5,000 total  (one award of CAD 2,000 and three awards of CAD 1,000)
