Introduction:

The Newcrest Mining Scholarship was established through a donation from Newcrest Mining Ltd to The University of Western Australia (UWA). The scholarship aims to assist and encourage high-achieving students to continue their studies towards a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) qualification at the University

Eligibility requirements for the Newcrest Mining Scholarship at the University of Western Australia:

Applicants must be a domestic student.
Applicants should have completed at least 48 points but not more than 72 points of study.
Be enrolled or eligible to enrol: Full-time, unless exceptional circumstances preclude full-time enrolment; and In the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree

Value of the scholarship:

A full-time student will be awarded AUD 30,000.
