Horace Brown Scholarship at the University of Western Australia 2024

Introduction: 

The Horace Brown Scholarship was established through a donation from adjunct professor Jackie Davidson to the University of Western Australia (UWA) in honor of her grandfather, Horace Brown. Horace Brown aspired to attend UWA but was unable to do so due to family business commitments. The scholarship aims to encourage and support students from regional or remote areas of Australia who are the first in their family to attend university.

Eligibility requirements for the Horace Brown Scholarship at the University of Western Australia:

• Applicants must be a domestic student.
• Be from a regional or remote area of Australia and have completed all or the majority of their secondary schooling, including Year 12, at a regional or remote school in Western Australia.
• Be the first person in their family to attend university.

Value of the scholarship:

A full-time student will be awarded AUD 20,000.

Eligible students must submit an application through the University of Western Australia scholarship application system and provide any required supporting documents.
