Ignited Scholarship At Deakin University 2024

The goal of the IGNITED Scholarship is to encourage women to pursue careers in fields like engineering, computer technology, and construction management that have historically been dominated by males. Female students enrolled in authorized undergraduate courses offered by the Faculty of Science, Engineering, and Built Environment are eligible to apply for this prize.

Eligibility for Ignited Scholarship At Deakin University:

• The applicant should be a woman.
• The applicant must be an Australian citizen, a citizen of New Zealand, a permanent resident of Australia, or the holder of an Australian permanent humanitarian visa.
• The applicant should be a beginning student enrolling for the first time in Trimester 1 2024 for their bachelor's degree at Deakin University.
• The student must be enrolled in Melbourne Burwood, Geelong Waterfront, Geelong Waurn Ponds, or online. Year 12 candidates must meet the published course-specific requirements with a minimum ATAR of 70 (with published subject or Special Equity and Access Scheme adjustments).
• Academic excellence (past Year 12 scores and/or GPA for post-secondary courses judged at or above the equivalent of a 70 ATAR) will be taken into consideration for non-Year 12 candidates.

Benefits of the scholarship:

In addition to an academic mentor, $625 is paid for each credit point. You have the option to pay with cash or with student contributions (tuition fees).
