Details about National Means Cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme

National Means Cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme is offered for High/Secondary School degree in the field of All subjects. You can apply to this scholarship here. The deadline for the sending your application is 15 May 2018. This scholarship is provided by Government of India and the value of this scholarship is Partial Funding, INR 6000 per annum . This scholarship is open for: India.

Parental income from all sources < INR 1,50,000 annually. Scholarship of INR 6000 per annum per student is awarded for study in classes from IX to XII. Separate examination for selection of students for NMMS Scholarships is being conducted by the State Governments.

The States/UTs are already conducting the examination for nominating the students for the national level (second stage) examination conducted by the NCERT. The same examination shall be used for selection of candidates for the award of Means-cum-Merit Scholarships in the State/UT.
