Monash Business School Indigenous Scholarship

Monash Business School has initiated an Indigenous Scholarship to seek high-achieving Indigenous Australians who are interested in pursuing an undergraduate or graduate business degree at Monash.

Eligibility for the Monash Business School Indigenous Scholarship:

• Applicants must be a commencing student in an undergraduate or graduate (coursework) degree in the Faculty of Business and Economics at a Monash campus in Australia.
• Applicants must be Australian citizens with an indigenous Australian background.
• Candidates should confirm an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Heritage certificate or a certified Statutory Declaration form to the William Cooper Institute.
• Applicants must demonstrate an excellent academic record.
• Applicants must maintain satisfactory academic performance as determined by the Monash Business School to renew the scholarship.
• Applicants must belong to one or more educational disadvantage groups, such as financial hardship, regional or remote background, disability or medical condition, difficult family or life circumstances, an underrepresented school, or a low socioeconomic status (SES) area.

Application Process for the Monash Business School Indigenous Scholarship:

• The applicants will be selected based on their academic achievement and need.
• Where possible, one scholarship will be awarded to an undergraduate student and one to a graduate student.
• VTAC applicants must apply for VTAC equity schemes (SEAS) to be automatically considered for the scholarship.

Award: Full tuition fees paid per year, up to a maximum of five years.
