Meiban – SUTD Scholarship

The Meiban – SUTD Scholarship is established to promote meritocratic access to education and provide opportunities to outstanding undergraduates pursuing their studies at SUTD.

Eligibility criteria -

• They must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
• Full-time undergraduate students enrolled in the University and intending to pursue the Engineering Product Development or the Computer Science and Design degree programme, and have good academic standing
• They must possess leadership potential, good moral character, and community spirit

Application process -

• Interested incoming students should apply for the Scholarship when applying for admission to SUTD.
• Existing students who are eligible will be invited to apply via MyPortal, and shortlisted applicants will be notified in due course.
• Late and incomplete submissions will not be processed.
• Scholarships are awarded on the basis of competition among eligible applicants.
• SUTD reserves the right not to award any Scholarship if there are no candidates of sufficient merit. 

Benefits -

• The Scholarship is valued at S$15,000 per academic year for up to 1 academic year and shall be applied towards the payment of tuition fees and study-related expenses.
• There is no bond to be fulfilled towards the donor.
• Successful recipients will be encouraged to undertake an internship with the donor.
