MBA Sustainable Leadership Scholarship at Newcatle University 2024/25

Newcastle University's Business School has a responsibility to help shape a sustainable and inclusive future for society and industry. The MBA Sustainable Leadership Scholarship at Newcastle University offers prizes to those who can show a significant amount of expertise in managing social and/or sustainable business activities. In addition, the chosen applicant will serve as an inspiration to colleagues and peers who aspire to manage sustainable businesses in the future.

Eligibility for MBA Sustainable Leadership Scholarship at Newcastle University:

• The candidate must have a conditional or unconditional offer of admission to the full-time MBA program in 2024.
• The applicant should have at least three years of relevant management experience.
• The candidate must have the equivalent of a UK 2:1 honors degree; however, candidates who fall short of this standard and can show that they have made considerable professional advancement in addition to having above-minimum relevant work experience will still be taken into consideration.
• If English is not the first language, the candidate should perform well in the interview across all competency areas and have an English language qualification of IELTS 6.5 or its equivalent with no subskill below 6.0.
• The candidate should be employed in a field, like energy or packaging, that is transitioning to more environmentally friendly (Sustainability) business models.

Application Process:

Applicants must fill out an online application form, which requires an essay. The School's MBA Scholarship Committee will evaluate applications and submissions. All eligible offer holders will get emails with links to the application form.

Value of the Scholarship:

Students will receive a full fee award of £31,000 payable towards the cost of tuition fees.

Deadline of the application:    

The application deadline is April 12, 2024; if the right applicant isn't found by then, the deadline will be extended.
