The Mayor’s Graduate Scholar Award supports students who are employed by the Office of the Mayor of New York and are pursuing graduate study. It is intended to encourage continued professional development while supporting employees in advancing their education at New York Tech.

Eligibility for Mayor's Graduate Scholars Award at NYIT:

Applicants must:

Be employed by the Office of the Mayor of New York
Have completed a bachelor’s degree
Be admitted to a graduate program at New York Tech
Not be receiving the New York Tech Graduate Scholar Award (mutual exclusivity applies).

Value of the Mayor's Graduate Scholars Award at NYIT::

$3,000 per year
Renewable for up to 3 years or 6 semesters.

Application Process:

No separate application is necessary. All eligible applicants will be automatically considered for the scholarship.
