About the Scholarship:
This grant is given to a student who is doing research in a department laboratory while enrolled in the first year of the School of BioSciences' Research Higher Degree in Genetics.
Eligibility for the Genetics Research Award:
Students must be enrolled in the first year of a Graduate Research degree in the School of BioSciences in the discipline of Genetics.
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated research potential, measured by the strength of the proposed research project and its alignment to the discipline of Genetics; and
- Previous academic excellence as determined by course entry score.
