The University of York initiates scholarships to recognize international student's academic success and provide a financial boost to those who need it. The University of York is pleased to offer additional awards, scholarships, and bursaries to qualified international students in the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies (LA&PS). 

Eligibility criteria for the LA&PS International Student Entrance Scholarship:

  • Open to all international students.
  • Applicants must hold an offer letter of any degree at the university.
  • Applicants must demonstrate good academic merit.

Value of the LA&PS International Student Entrance Scholarship:

Successful applicants of the LA&PS International Student Entrance Scholarship will receive the following-

  • $5,000 (one-time only)
  • $2,500 (one-time only)

 Note: No application is required; this award is a one-time only at the point of admission.
