Malaysia Law Scholarship is offered by the University of Tasmania and is funded by the College of Arts, Law and Education to support Malaysian students.
Eligibility
- The candidates applying for the Malaysia Law Scholarship, University of Tasmania, 2017 should be a Malaysian citizen.
- The candidates should have applied to study a Bachelor of Laws (Direct Entry) (63P1) through an authorised representative agent of the University of Tasmania.
- Applicants should have received and accepted the offer for the Bachelor of Laws (Direct Entry) (63P1), which will be commencing on Semester 1, 2018.
- The candidates should not have previously undertaken any tertiary studies. Extension studies completed as part of a year 12 program or its equivalent is excluded.
- Candidates should not be applying for any other sources of funding.
Ongoing Eligibility
- The successful applicants of the Malaysia Law Scholarship, University of Tasmania, 2017 should be enrolled full-time (100% per year) in the Bachelor of Laws (Direct Entry) (63P1) and achieve a Credit (5.0/7.0) cumulative grade point average (CGPA) at the end of each academic year to retain the award.
Value of the scholarship
- The successful applicants will be receiving course fees of A$108,000 approx in total, which also includes Student Services & Amenities Fees.
