Overview

Purpose:

Enabling the most talented students from all backgrounds to study at LSHTM is a key strategic priority. To tackle barriers to further education for students from all backgrounds, LSHTM is excited to offer a range of widening participation scholarships.

Eligibility for the LSHTM Next Generation Scholarships:

  • Students should meet the criteria for Home fee status;
  • Students need to meet LSHTM’s minimum English language requirements (as required by LSHTM’s Admissions system);
  • Students must hold an offer of admission for 2024-25 for one of LSHTM’s 16 London-based (intensive) MSc programs of study.

Application Process:

All applicants who meet the criteria above will automatically be considered for these scholarships when making their application to study via the LSHTM Admissions portal.

Benefits of the scholarships:

  • 2024-25 tuition fees (at the Home fee rate), including any mandatory field trip fees, and
  • a tax-free student stipend (living allowance) at the UKRI studentship rate (which is GBP 20,622.00 in 2023-24)
