Loughborough Development Trust Africa Scholarship 2024

Loughborough University has announced full-fee scholarships for international full-time taught postgraduate students who are permanently living in Africa. These will be known as the Loughborough University Graduate School Development Trust Africa Scholarships. 

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicant must be permanently living in Africa.
• Applicant must hold an offer letter of admission from the university.
• Academic merit (normally a 1st Class Honours Degree).
• Applicant must return to their home country on completion of the postgraduate program.
• Applicant must commit to making a significant contribution to their home country on their return.
• Applicant must have a full understanding of the costs involved in coming to study and live in the UK.
• Applicant must be motivated to secure funds to cover the remainder of the costs involved.

Admission Process: 

• The candidates must apply for the scholarship only after receiving the offer letter from the university.
• Shortlisted candidates will be approached by the university for further processing of the application.

Value of the Scholarship:

• The scholarships will cover 100% of the tuition fees of the postgraduate taught course for one year (replacing any Departmental or Loughborough University scholarships or bursaries you may already have been awarded).
