Eligibility Criteria for the Liverpool Attainment Scholarship for India:
Applicants must:

- Meet any conditions of their offer.
- Pay tuition fees for the course yourself at the international rate.
- Hold Indian nationality.
- Be joining a full or part-time postgraduate taught master’s course, including MRes, at our Liverpool campus in the academic year 2026/27.
- Accept their offer of a place and pay their tuition fee deposit by the advertised deadlines.
- Be a new postgraduate taught student from India who hasn't studied at the University before.
- Applicants are not eligible for this scholarship if they studied at University of Liverpool International College or Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, plan to study online, have tuition fees funded by a sponsor, or are enrolled in a PGCert, Professional Doctorate, MPhil, MArch, or PhD programme.
Application Process:
No application is necessary. The scholarship will be awarded to all eligible students who meet the criteria.
Value of the Liverpool Attainment Scholarship for India:
Successful and eligible applicants will receive and award of a tuition fee discount of £2,000.
Note: If the applicants don’t yet have their results and you achieve a First Class undergraduate degree, they could be eligible for the Liverpool Excellence Scholarship for Postgraduates. Applicants will then receive an increased tuition fee discount of £7,000.
If the applicants don’t yet have their results and they achieve a 2:1 degree, you could be eligible for the Liverpool Achievement Scholarship for India.
