The ESRC Postdoctoral Fellowships are designed to offer a chance for career advancement to individuals who have just completed their postdoctoral phase, allowing them to strengthen their doctoral degree by enhancing their publication record, expanding their professional connections, and improving their research and professional abilities.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicant must have completed their PhD at a UK research organization.
  • Applicants can be of any nationality.
  • Applicants who would obtain their PhD by the deadline are eligible.
  • Applicants should not have more than one year of active post-doctoral experience.

Application Process

  • Interested candidates must submit a completed proposal which includes:
