Overview
Leverhulme Trade Charities Trust Postgraduate Bursaries offers bursaries up to GBP 5,000 a year for UK university students, who are in financial need and have a parent or spouse or are employed themselves, as a commercial traveler, pharmacist, or grocer.
Eligibility criteria:
- Applicants must be residents of the United Kingdom.
- Applicants must be studying for a full-time postgraduate degree at a recognized UK university.
- The applicant needs to be the child, spouse, widow, widower or personally employed as a commercial traveler, pharmacist, or grocer.
- The applicant must demonstrate financial need.
- Applicants from the following universities are not eligible for the award:
- BPP University – unless it is for tuition fees that will go straight to the university
- University of Law,
- Middlesex University,
- Open University.
Application Process:
Interested candidates must submit an online application for the scholarship.
Value of the Award:
Selected candidates are awarded a sum of up to GBP 5,000.
Note: If a student's application is successful, their university will receive the bursary on the student's behalf, and pass the money on to the student.
