Eligibility Criteria for Letje Lips Amsterdam Merit Scholarship (LLAMS) at University of Amsterdam 2025:

Applicants must:

• Hold a non-EU/EEA nationality and not be eligible for statutory tuition fees.
• Be a first-time degree-seeking student at the University of Amsterdam.
• Have submitted a complete application to the Graduate School of Humanities for a one-year, non-selective English-taught Master’s programme (Research and Dual Master’s programmes are NOT eligible).
• Meet all entry requirements for the Master's program, including English language proficiency.
• Not have been granted another scholarship in addition to LLAMS (must notify Admissions Office if awarded another scholarship).
• If selected conditionally, submit certified documents (diploma, transcripts) by 1 August 2025.
• Be able to comply with visa regulations.
• Fully enroll as a full-time student at the University of Amsterdam by 31 August 2025.
• Be able to pay certain fees (housing, immigration fee) prior to arrival (May/June).
• Be able to fund the rest of their study and living expenses; LLAMS does not cover all costs.

The Letje Lips Amsterdam Merit Scholarship offers a prize of €20,000, with seven (7) scholarships available for the academic year 2025-2026.

Application Process:

• Submit a complete Master's application via MyInfo by 15 January 2025, 23:59 GMT+1.
• After submitting the Master's application, fill out and submit the LLAMS scholarship application via the official LLAMS application portal (available from 3 December 2024 until the deadline).

Note: Both applications must be submitted by the deadline; incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
